Great pub. Great selection of beers and cider. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. If I lived nearby this would be my local.
Constant stream of knowledge about the beers they had and similar beers available. Didn't want to leave!

Great choice of beers always something good on. I do wish they would cosy the place up a bit though. Wobbly tables and sitting on beer kegs does not encourage you to stay for long. The colour scheme is also a bit harsh.

Fantastic place, staff and service, loved the atmosphere. Hopefully you'll play the pub games. This place is amazing! Really interesting medieval building which used to be the old toy shop near the cinema. A great range of craft beers from small independent breweries from around the country. James the bar man is a real character and a good chat.

Excellent pub with a wide and ever changing range of craft beers, most of them with stupid names, and pretty much always taste delicious. The fact you can get a decent curry delivered here and they'll give you the plates for it just makes it even better.

Great place to go and truly experience the wonderful world that is craft beer and cider. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and genuinely want you to have a good experience. Different from your average local pub and well worth a visit.

Some average beers but very expensive. £11.60 for two 440ml cans which unfortunately were really quite average tasting.

Fair enough, thought I'd give you guys another shot, turned up with partner and brother with a push chair, sat down in the deserted LHS with an asleep 7 week old baby. We'd been in with a push chair when I previously bought the beers. Go to bar ask barman about stouts (learning from last time), barman explains the difference between the stouts and then says we can't have a U18 in the pub. Fair play if it's licensing but why let us get so far? This is all before 1700 on a Saturday afternoon. If it's not licensing then you may get some more custom if you relax your rules. At the end of the day I just wanted a nice beer and to support local custom, appreciate you can't please everyone. Cheers.

Great addition to the Melton pub scene. Good selection of ales with a change of choice regularly. Enjoyed my beers, no jukebox or fruit machine just good company. Its a "yes" from me!

Saturday night and we were the only two people in there. Top end prices and excellent ale but probably the least comfy seating in melton. It's a shame but unless something is done about the ambience I think we will be losing another ale house
