The Hideaway Bar & Kitchen

Went in on a spur as it was wet and windy and we were hungry. Simple effective decor and comfy chairs.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and prices. A latte, tonic water, Panko chicken strips, s&p chicken, brie bites and some sweet potato fries for under £27. Food was served hot, salads looked fresh and crisp.

We both admitted pleasantly surprised with quality and quantity.

Booked a table for 7 on Friday got down there to a bar full of women absolutely smashed, dancing and swinging around pool noodles around, empty dirty Plates everywhere and then got told they weren't even serving food? We left thinking we wouldn't have wanted to eat there anyway, Not sure why they let us book a table then? Was really looking forward to it aswell. Shame really if we'd have known they don't serve food after a certain time we wouldn't have booked.

Me and my best friend came for bottomless brunch last Thursday and it was absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend. It was our first ever one and the lovely girl behind the bar was so welcoming and helped us so much. The food and cocktails were outstanding. 5* service! We will be back xx

Really good food, excellent atmosphere and not too expensive for a bevvy or 2. Would definitely recommend an evening meal here for a courting couple or party celebrating.

Had a lovely experience! The staff are friendly and diligent, the food, drinks and cocktails are delicious and the atmosphere is by far the best I have experienced in a very long time! I will definitely be visiting here again in the future!

Great bar, brilliant selection of drinks and some great offers. We had some food off the new menu last weekend it was really good. Will be back for more. Highly recommend a visit or two.
