The Willow Tree

Wanted a quick and tasty lunch outside in the sunshine and that exactly what we got. I had Brevet steak and fries which was cooked perfectl. My partner had a BLT.
The garden is lovely and by the river. Worth a visit

Great food. Solid slow roasted pork with seasonal veggies and the crackling just melted in the mouth. Chocolate brownie sundae was divine and had great texture with taste. Service and staff was excellent and friendly. Well done, really.

The decor feels like a tacky living room. It's a shame because it use to feel like a proper country pub but now it's full of cheap paintings and ornaments. Food was overcooked and dry. Its a shame because the garden and building is beautiful but the atmosphere and everything else ruins it.

A bit disappointed tbh, bar area looked grubby and outside area and garden looks unloved. Staff pleasant and food was okay. Great location and oodles of potential for the right people.

Food and service was fine but it took an hour+ between ordering and getting our meal and we were the only people there at the time.

First time visit, bartender was super friendly and welcoming. Absolutely lovely garden. Great impression, will definitely be back!

Lovely garden setting, with lots of tables. We were pleased there was a lunch menu with sandwiches, perfect. The service was fast and the food was tasty.
