Had a nice brunch at the bar yesterday. The bar has a big conservatory which is by the dock, nice view and wonderful atmosphere. We ordered some jacket potatoes with some chunky chips. Price is reasonable and jacket potatoes are surprisingly good with nice presentation and salad is fresh. Chunky chips is £2.50 which is nicely fried and portion is reasonable. Staff are generally quite friendly. It’s a nice and slightly further from the Quays but that also means you are away from the crowd.

Went here for a birthday meal and food in the afternoon. Bar area was very cold, did ask if the heating was on!!! Drinks not bad price and nice coffee. Food looked nice , tasted nice and four meals came out together. But was warm and not hot. Perhaps the low temperature in the pub was too blame. If weather wasn't so bad would have moved on to a pub with a fire.

Was pleased to hear that Dr fosters had reopened.. So on a a day of sunshine popped in for a drink and look around. The bar looked very modern and the staff well dressed in waistcoats. However nothing else appears changed and the place has a rustic grubiness. Although there is a conservatory which looks out over the docks, the tables are not laid out very well (unless you happen to go out in a party of twenty people.) there was no actual outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine. Altogether a rather disappointing visit.

Having recently reopened you would think people would like to visit somewhere different but that doesn't seem to be the case. Called in on a Saturday lunchtime and I was the only person there, given the state of the gents toilets it must have been busy the night before but surely you want to clean and tidy before opening again in the morning, obviously not. I had to wipe my feet when I left, will not be rushing back.

Came here to celebrate a friends birthday and it did not disappoint! The staff were so kind and helpful and even recommended cocktails to us. Great people, great dj and great atmosphere. The headbanger is my new favourite cocktail. The only downfall is that it wasn't served in the proper glass as they had run out. Will definitely be back to visit very soon, thankyou for an amazing night

Good. Went on Saturday to a mates retirement do. It wasn't very busy when I arrived, shortly after 6pm. But it soon got busy and we were lucky enough that they opened the bar upstairs, which was good. The staff were friendly & polite. The football wqs on but it certainly wasn't rowdy or raucous.

It's always amazed me over the years why it hasn't been busier as its nicely furnished and always has a good atmosphere, close to restaurants at the northern end of the docks with parking nearby and being only a short walk from the city centre.

They had a good range of gins, but ran out of rhubarb gin, but they still had plenty of others. Good range of lagers & beers (bottles & draught) although I didn't see an IPA. Korev, enjoyable pint for a fiver.

First time for our band WyeFi playing at this venue and I have to say I hope it won't be the last. The staff were helpful on my arrival advising me of stage area and load in and parking arrangements. Duty manager Vicky was also helpful and supportive.
We managed to raise the party level thanks to the wonderful clientele. See you in 2023
