The Winyates - Bar & Grill

An excellent experience - very authentic Punjabi cuisine with attentive service. A real gem of a restaurant!

Been here twice and the staff and service are excellent. The goat and fish curries are spot on. Have yet to try other mains. The starters are fantastic too, on my most recent visit we shared two mixed grill platters between 11 of us which had lamb chops, chicken tikka wings, sheesh kebabs and fish served on a bed of sizzling onions. Naan breads are great as well. The bar is also well stocked with a good variety of drinks. So a great meal in a friendly place all at a good price.

Had a lovely meal here last night. Food service and staff.... excellent. A different sort of experience... serving lovely street food , wonderful mixed grill platters plus balti. Don't be put off by the outside, the inside is fine. Can highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you chaps.

Went with the family to winyates bar and grill.
First impressions were mixed its a estate pub not in the best condition rundown but clean.
The restearant was empty but it was early we had a drink and orderd the platter with some chicken and two plates of chips all to share with the kids.
When it came it was dry chicken undercooked no salad as stated in all very poor.
We ate some of it which proved to be our undoing?
In all the service was not good it was cold and pop asian music playing didn't make it a great dining experience.
This morning ive got two children my wife and my self with diarea and sickness very poorly we had nothing else apart from the platter.
Will not be going again.

Went last weekend for a meal food was great. But this weekend the restaurant was closed as the chef had left. A bit tough and ready in the bar so not to everyone's liking, friendly staff.

Great prices great staff fantastic food, All round good people
