A lovely little bar from Fell Brewery. Several hand pull & keg lines available. Great staff and service. Would recommend. If driving note you cannot park at the bottom next to the river and walk up Lowther St as there are road works. Use other car parks.

This is a proper real ale pub with an excellent selection of craft ales to try or takeaway.
The bar itself is small with additional seating upstairs. It's minimalist in terms of its creature comforts but it's the beer that brings you here (and that rhymes, so it must be true).

A really great bar with friendly staff and a good choice of ales. Definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Nice beers and helpful team when we wanted somewhere to eat with recommendations or offering us to grab a takeaway and eat it here with more beers!

Great drink selection. Lots of beers brewed in house very tasty. A little cramped through the doors but a decent amount of seating upstairs

Very cool place in the centre of Kendal. Decent selection of real ales and craft beers and a few guest keg beers. Very well styled on the first floor inside an old building with timber beams. Great ambience. Only thing that let this place down was slow service when we initially entered.

Great bar been coming in since it opened, always welcoming and friendly, if you want horse racing and John Smiths this isn’t the bar for you. If it’s a vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, great range of modern beers and ‘proper’ lager then go there. It’s not well signed no garish illumination so you can’t immediately see it from the top of Lowther Street but it’s well worth seeking out.

A delightful place to have a pint during the week or Sunday; Fridays and Saturdays also brill. Fills the space well and provides a nice addition of foliage and board games. The bar staff are worth talking to, you could learn a thing or 2; especially from their Jack Black and Simon Pegg look alike. 10/10 would recommend
