A hidden gem. Very friendly staff and delicious drinks. The back garden is very charming. Must visit in Eltham.

A nice local watering hole was highly needed in this neck of the hood.

I like the beer selection and the IPA number 6 on the menu is my favourite. The ladies also seem to like the colourful drinks.

Four-star just because the food choices are limited.

Great little bar. Loads of choice for drinks and a decent selection of snacks too. The team are very welcoming and keep the place impeccably clean. I wish it was closer to my house!

It's a combination of a cocktail bar, wine bar, and micro/craft pub with table service... Very pleasant staff, and surroundings.... Well worth a visit 👍

Tugbay and team have created something really special with The Berry and Barrel. Tucked just off Well Hall Road, you step back in time to a place where good service reigns, great drinks and cocktails get photographed before they’re sipped and you leave happier than when you arrived, regardless of how much you’ve had to drink.

Pleasure to visit. Really nice micropub. Spotless inside and out. Lovely garden as well. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices.
My only issue (hence 4 stars) is only two cask ales available. I'd like to see 3 or 4. The reason i visit micropubs is to sample different cask ales straight from the cask. The tendency towards keg (i do accept there are some really lovely keg beers now) seems to be a developing pattern in some micros. I do understand the issues with shelf life but cask will fade away again if it isn't promoted, particularly with so many gorgeous session ales and IPA's being brewed. That aside, the two that were available were really lovely and well kept. Recommended.
