Thoroughly enjoyed the experience here. A very hot afternoon sat on the terrace with drinks and popcorn listening to chilled music relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Prices of drinks were similar to other bars around the area, slightly expensive, but relative to the location. I would certainly visit again.

Stopped by here after dinner across the road for a drink. The concierge was very nice and welcoming. The bar itself has beautiful views towards Liverpool Street. The drinks are a bit expensive but relatively similar to what you will find at nearby places which do not have the same views. Would recommend for anyone visiting London, or locals wanting something special.

We just visited the Hotel to go up to the Sky Terrace Bar and it’s such a shame that we were not welcomed by the conceirge Calib a young black guy with a diamanté earring. He noted that the terrace bar was closed and quickly tried to dismiss us. Then when we enquiries further he was very patronising and led us to the bar on the ground floor whilst his friend that visited egged him on and made us feel very uncomfortable. What a terrible and embarrassing situation for the hotel to hire such staff that is immature and unprofessional. Then when we asked what time it closed he conveniently called the bar and whilst on the phone making funny faces and rudely said shall I call my manager. It wasn’t that we didn’t believe him but if we see people from the outside enjoying their cocktail on the roof terrace - it’s strange that he said it was closed. He then suspiciously changed his story and said that it is first come first serve. Well. Maybe your hotel need to look into training your staff to be professional and have respectful customer service.

Doesn’t really deserve one star.

Yesterday just before 7pm, I went inside the Hotel and was welcomed by the concierge, a white guy with dark hair and black glasses who was incredibly rude. When I asked him about the Shoreditch Sky Terrace, he told me that he didn’t know where it was - even though I was showing it to him on google maps. I then left. Since I found the situation to be quite bizarre, I returned to the hotel and asked him and one of his colleagues (a white guy with short hair and beard), if the hotel had a rooftop on top. They then conveniently told me that it was full and only accessible to hotel guests. All the while the two of them were looking at me and smiling at each other. That was certainly the most uncomfortable interactions I have had with concierge staff. I will never come back.

What a rip off. £14 for a “cocktail”, sorry more like a mixed drink (nothing more than a single gin with lime and juice). Then they have the cheek to add 12.5% service charge on top - even when you order a beer at the bar. What a joke. This ain’t the USA - pay your employees properly.

So this spot is pretty great anytime outside of winter. The view is pretty cool. The service was great. I’d definitely recommend this place for a date or if you just want a casual spot with friends to have drinks and catchup.

Drinking mango juice with tequila out of a plastic beaker (mango martini) smelling buger fat with a glimpse of carnaby street was possibly the lowest point of my life. Don’t waste your time or money there. Complaints go unheard because management don’t seem to care
