Great ambience; good selection of beers; it's clean which is obviously important in these strange times. There is a great garden at the back that is like a little oasis of calm in the middle of the city. The bar staff are excellent, really friendly, it's just a nice place to take the wife and have a quiet drink even she says it's clean!

Fantastic pint of Guinness. Deceptively larger than it seems with smaller partitioned off area for watching sports with your group (though TVs are available from most angles).
Welcoming place, Landlord Sam runs the place fairly.
Recommended.

Went to celebrate the 3rd birthday of the reopening tonight, had a great disco on and prices very reasonable for town will be back!

Great local and proper pub with a good atmosphere, been in to watch a lot of the recent sport and had a great time. Staff treat everyone the same and look after everyone well
