Chilled, quirky, full of character & home to exceptional local ale by Drop The Anchor Brewery & fantastic home cooking / baking. Definitely my fav spot in Christchurch.

Really disappointing!! Ordered a Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Ciabatta. I’ll be honest, I’ve never had a sandwich with such little filling that the sauce became the prominent taste!! One slice of bacon, and 2 slithers of Brie, cut thin enough that they should win an award…. Not impressed at all…..

Lovely food, been there 2 weekends in a row now! Paninis are great and the full english is even better - and it's served till 3.30pm so you don't even need to get up early for your breakfast! Dog friendly too! Our new favourite place!

A great little venue that’s dog friendly. Good to see a quality cafe/bar to replace the old Cheese & Alfie’s. A great selection of beers, cakes and snacks, with friendly welcoming staff. Very good prices and lovely surroundings.

Have visited The Snug a number of times and it is one of our favourite places in Christchurch.
Lovely homely atmosphere with lots of interesting furniture and accessories.
Great breakfast, good selection of cakes, and coffee and very friendly staff.

Cozy setting and homemade cakes was a perfect end to my icy walk across the Avon Valley path to Christchurch.

With seating upstairs and downstairs, quirky decor, and charming feel. It was great to sit with a book, a cup of earl gray and generous slice of ginger cake (£5.50).

It would be nice to have had my tea in a pot rather than a mug, however, the offer of extra hot water was a nice touch.

Friendly, welcoming, professional staff. Upstairs is like a homely lounge. Ciders served perfectly. Lovely lunches.
