Really friendly guy behind the bar who seemed to know his stuff. Last time we were in the area we got takeaway cans which are a good idea. This time we enjoyed some drinks on site.

It seemed like a nice friendly atmosphere and a good choice of beers. Not the cheapest, but they are a business at a small venue so have to make a profit and I felt the cost was justified by the friendly welcome and enjoyable atmopsphere.

The food/snacks sounded nice, but as we were eating out we did not try this. Maybe we will next time we visit as we are in the area other month.

This is well worth a visit if its beer you are into. My wife and I enjoyed our visit with dog Max who was more than welcome too. Nice chat and explanation of the beers that would be to my taste that they had to offer, and nice range of snacks available too

Friendly, informed service, superb ! beers and a very tasty cheese plate! A little oasis on the High Street. Make sure you pop-in!

Awesome place, very knowledgable team and a variety of ways to purchase great beer.

My only complaint is about this American Pale ale - 2.5litres is simply not enough!

Came here a few weeks ago with my family (I actually went twice to test it out first) and it was fantastic. A really incredible variety of drinks to suit any requirements. The staff were super friendly and really helpful, as well as seemingly passionate and knowledgeable about what they were selling which was really nice to see. We enjoyed multiple drinks inside and got quite a few to take away too. The only reason we didn't stay longer was because unfortunately we didn't find the seating comfortable, otherwise we would have remained for many more hours, however that didn't detract from a great experience. Top stuff and can't wait to go back when we next visit the area.

I've not actually sat down and drank beer in the premises but have had take out twice. Both times the staff have been wonderful and exceptionally helpful. My wife said she would like to have a drink in this bar and she really doesn't like bars that's how good this place is. They even have a Canning machine how brilliant is that. If you like craft beer or a nice atmosphere don't hesitate in going to this bar.

Popped in for a quick drink before the theatre. Very pleasantly surprised by a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, excellent selection of beers and a great takeaway service (we’re currently enjoying a can of Christmas Krampus 😋).
Highly recommended!
