The Hermitage

Although described as a restaurant there is a separate dog friendly bar area and drinkers are made welcome. There are a couple of real ales on. Varied menu from snacks to main meals. Well worth a visit.

Great service with huge portion sizes and excellent quality. Would recommend to any visitor to Acle or the Broads.

A traditional country pub run by very friendly people. They serve good food and offer gluten free options on request. The pub does get busy, so if you are looking to eat there, I would recommend booking. There is an outside area to the front and sides. Highly recommended.

Had been recommended this pub myself but was unsure from the outside. However, what a warm welcome we received and such a pretty pub inside. The service and food were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. No hesitation in recommending or returning.

Stopped by after a local walk for lunch and had pre-booked. Very friendly welcome and super service throughout. Something that genuinely doesn't exist in restaurants these days so we were chuffed with this. Excellent menu with fair prices. Food great thanks too and we'll certainly be returning

Great pub, good food cooked well, friendly staff, a proper pub.
A little close to the road but not noisy inside, it feels calm comfy and friendly. We will definitely return.

Amazing place friendly staff and locals. Had garlic mushrooms to start while the wife had whitebait. For main course we both had there posh KFC homemade chicken and chips. All that we had was homemade Including the chips! The chef here is very good. Nothing was to much trouble service with a smile. Wheelchair friendly and a easily accessible disabled toilet witch was spotlessly clean. On a whole a fantastic experience all round and we will definitely return.
