Not sure how this dump of a place is even legally allowed to be open? Went to Durham for drinks over weekend. Sun had brought everyone out so most places were busy. Thought we'd call in Jimmy Allen's. Hadn't been in in years. Now I remember why. Don't think it's seen a cleaner or decorators since I used to go in in the early 2000s. Everywhere is filthy damp, grotty and rotten. Especially the floors. Bouncer had said it was very quiet as we went in. No wonder. Walked in and straight back out, as soon as husband used the toilets which he said were revolting, cups and vomit and such all over the toilets. Also a poor lad got stuck in the toilets as the handle was missing off the door. Health and safety definitely not a priority in here. Who wants to sit breathing in damp and mould? 🤮

I had a horrible experience visiting Jimmy's last night having been fasley vilified for stealing. The bouncers took upon themselves to man handle me and felt it was appropriate to slap me across the face despite a miscommunication in their institution. Behaviour like this is incredibly common and it should not keep happening without repercussions. If you think bouncers like this have your best interests at heart think again. Too often they walk around with a chip on their shoulder ruining people's nights.

Doorman with head tattoos

He has a serious chip on his shoulder, went with my daughter and he said her I.d was fake (which it is not!) Even though she had been in the week before. There is no number to ring so I can speak to management. I am not paying for a new provisional licence when she has used it to pass her theory test earlier this year! His attitude stinks and is not fit for the job if he can’t even spot REAL ID

Went here on Sat 13/08/22 for friends hen night around 4pm . There was a door man called Billy who was absolutely fantastic and full of fun, nothing was a bother to him. There was also two barmaids who deserve recognition , they were lovely and very accommodating.

Had a great time !

Jimmies was an awful experience for me. I was waiting inside of the club for my brother and the bouncers decided that my behaviour (waiting without causing any damage) was unacceptable and they kicked me out. This was a clear act of discrimination and I’ll never return to this club again.
