I came here to buy beer for my father for Christmas. Unfortunately, it turned out the beer I was recommended (and bought, not having been made aware of this fact) was two months out of date. I feel this is unacceptable and my father is worried about drinking the beer - please advise!

Seriously loved this place. To me this is what good beer is all about and this place totally gets it. Great selection of beer (to drink in or to take away) friendly owner, good tunes and unpretentious laid back atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic beer selection and always friendly staff ready to help out with any needs and recommendations. Beer on tap and straight from fridges perfect for a drink by the harbourside!

Really good spot for craft beers. They have several on tap if you have time to relax and taste them, if you don't, you won't be disappointed at the variety of options to take away. Great selection of local Bristol/south west breweries plus some gems from farther afield (I picked up some delicious Mikkeller when I was there last). I drink a fair bit of dark beer so was pleased to see a good variety there as well as the more broadly popular New England and West Coast IPAs. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable so don't be afraid to ask if you need advice.

I came here at about 7.45pm on Saturday night. Despite Google maps and a sign on the door advertising opening till 8pm, the shop was closed. As a craft beer fan only in Bristol for one night, I was disappointed. Luckily, Wild Beer have a bar a few minutes further walk. Their beers are delicious. Go there every time. Wild beer salvaged my night and they get 5 stars.

Small, but mighty beer lovers shop!

Really good selection: chill and ambient temperature. Plus, let them know if it's a gift or a treat :)

Don't be shy to tell them you are having right away - they'll take a top off for you.

Enjoy!

Great little bar and bottle shop stocked with amazing beers. Great selection of Deya, Verdant and Left Handed Giant beers. A must if you’re in Bristol by the harbourside.

Despite good experiences previously, the member of staff was very rude today. Its like he didn't want any custom and was more interested in smoking and drinking on his own.

(Bald Man with Beard if the owners want to resolve!)
