Stopped for a snack here. The small slightly dated bar area was filled with a giant but incredibly polite, friendly barman, who was clearly well known among the locals. Drinks were good, and the snack food was decent too. We had a bacon and brie baguette and a chicken salad sandwich, both were tasty but not life changing. Overall, would certainly return for the nice atmosphere but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Nice old pub. Now independent with a few ales on cask including Ringwood 49er. Great food with specials board. Very popular with locals. May have to book to get a table

Just had lunch at the plough, my son ordered a burger, it was huge and very well cooked and presented, his comment best burger in and around crawley, very juicy and not overcooked or dry.
I had an omelette with a side salad which was very nicely presented and very tasty. Lovely pub lovely staff. We will return very soon .

Popped in for a quick drink with my son, staff were friendly and it has a cosy atmosphere. Nice to be in a 'proper' pub, not many of them left in Crawley! Didn't have food but it looked good from what I saw

We wanted a warm comfortable place to eat some pub grub ,have a few drinks and catch up. There are specials, but this doesnt have any gastro pub pretensionsThe staff were friendly and helpful and the food standard pub grub. The wine and port were good quality. This is a repeat visit and one we will continue to make. I can't comment on the xmas menu as we ate off the ordinary one.
