The new decoration is ok, but too modern for my taste. There is only larger, cyder and Guinness on tap. On bottle more less the same. The house wine is closer to a glass of Ribena with added alcohol. The music is too loud so is difficult to talk. Is basically a pub for students. I don't know about the food as I didn't eat anything. It is only good to watch sports as they have several big screens.

It's close to the Mile End Station. Went there at 2 for lunch and we were told that we could only eat burgers. It wasn't a problem, we were quite hungry and the burger was okay but not the best. It was really calm as we were the only customers there, I suppose there would be more people during the evening, but we still got to enjoy a good pint of Guinness.

Came for a late lunch so they could only propose burgers, not the best I've had. Ordered a "spicy" burger , indian style I think, but the chef must have another definition of spicy than me.

DO NOT book a room until this pub reopens - In late Nov - know the new owners and this pub and hotel is not trading - any bookings from the old operator won’t be honoured

Doesn't really get that packed. Open later if enough people are there. Fairly cheap drinks.

Great atmosphere, particularly Friday night - live DJs, dancing and laughter
