What a place. An absolute gem of a venue. We had the most amazing evening there. Lovely room in the basement (the den) that we had all to our selves. We even had control of the music. Got food delivered and drank the night away. Thank you so much

Growlers & Cans brings Guildford the much needed craft brew hangout that any self respecting town needs. Its quaint as a venue but serves both local craft and the best that England offers. You can pick up a can from Buxton brewery, Kernal, or Firebird (nice addition) or you could chill in the dungeonous basement and play toad in the hole with some mates. All in all the selection on my only visit was average but better than anywhere else in guildford bar none.

Great find. 6x taps rotating some of the best beer around and fridges stocked with a much wider range of bottles and cans. Wine, spirits and alcohol free beer also on offer. Extra seating / small events space available downstairs. Knowledgable owners, and dog friendly!

Another cracking visit to Growlers. Superb range of beers plus they have a couple of well stocked fridges. Decent music at a reasonable level in the background too.
Live Jazz events which are advertised on the blackboard might be your thing too....why not try it

Great craft beer, great vibe, lovely owners. I have to say Guildford was the last place I expected to find a bar like this. Craft beer and reggae. What's not to love? If you like beer away from the bland high street chain pubs, this is a must.

Wow! What a diamond this place is! Just had best date night here! It's totally unique and unassuming and charming and warm and welcoming. Maxine was so knowledgeable about her craft ales and booze! We both thoroughly enjoyed our time, drank a 3/4 of something we would never have known we'd enjoy, played cards ( a stack of games to play!) and left knowing we are going back soon! Loved it! ❤️

What a little gem this place is. Super friendly owners/staff who made me feel really welcome. An awesome collection of craft beers from all over the UK to choose from.
The place is bijou but that's all part of its charm.
Highly recommended. Will be returning for sure.
