Copper Cogs

This Carrot cake blew my mind, and the Coffee was 'PROPER'. I need a strong, rich, robust coffee as I am a caffeine monster and the coffee was delicious and full-bodied.

Lovely place too. We were just slightly gutted breakfast service finished early due to them being busy, as we'd had a long drive, but it meant I got to have the carrot cake instead!

A lovely relaxed place, for a coffee and cake, or a cocktail and anti pasto.
Kids enjoyed there mocktails, and we took away cocktails for home.
Very nice, and polite staff.

Tasty pizza and cocktails are amazing. The waiting staff need to pay more attention to customer service, we had the wrong bill twice. We asked for a charging point and the staff member was not helpful at all. The staff member working on the bar was helpful and seemed really keen to get everything right. Decor and atmosphere was great, they have board games you can play and a really nice place to spend the evening. Overall a great experience and they have an amazing place here....

Great food and cocktails myself and my wife stayed at a local hotel overnight and came here for dinner. Lovely platters and food in good portions. The cocktails were great with the 2 for £10 deals. If we stop nearby again, we will definitely visit. Staff were very professional and polite.

Visited today after a few years. It was so lovely! Yum food, lovely staff and calm atmosphere. Just what I needed after a few anxious days, thank you for making me and my little dog welcome and well attended to 💛

Really lovely bar with friendly staff, lovely cocktails, good food and great cakes. Every time I have been, lunchtime, evening, etc) there has been a great atmosphere. The service is good; the staff are very nice, food and drink are always prompt even when they’re full, and you can have a nice chat and laugh with them. They are very child friendly, and there are changing facilities for little ones. The loos are generally clean and in good working order.

First time experience today. Copper Cogs really did not disappoint. Centrally located in Long Eaton. Parking is available in surrounding areas all within a 100m walking distance. Copper Cogs was much more popular than we imagined, therefore I’d recommend booking a table. I chose to have the full English Breakfast and it was probably the best Breakfast I’ve ever had. Freshly cooked and served with ‘proper tea’ with Tea leaves. Just WOW!
Each waiter/waitress was friendly and professional. Throughly enjoyed our Copper Cogs experience and will definitely be returning and recommending. If your after a proper breakfast experience with a great vibe, almost American Diner…ish. Copper Cogs is a MUST. The Menu is extensive with a wide variety of choices and they’re cocktail menu is huge too!!! Definitely worth a try if your in/around the area.

There is a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere here, thanks to the staff. The ambiance, seating and decor is comfy and informal. The food is very good - cakes and cheesecake, fresh fruit crumble - all homemade. Baguette sandwich also great. Creative and original recipes in general and coffee is a good standard. We went in during the afternoon so cannot review the evening …yet…
