First visit today and had full English breakfast - superb! No sign of any oil or fat, everything well cooked and nicely presented. For a plate containing toast, two fried eggs, 1 sausage, 2 rashers of bacon, a hash brown and a pot containing tinned tomatoes and another with baked beans, it was well worth the £7.50. The staff member who served us was friendly and efficient but not pushy. We would certainly go again.

Overpriced, poor service. Wouldn’t go again. We waited 30 minutes for breakfast of poached eggs with avocado that came out totally dry yolks and scrambled eggs with bacon £7.50 for each with 1 slice of toast with eggs. I’d have been embarrassed to serve it! There wasn’t even any butter on the toast and no apology for the wait. We were the only people eating, so it’s not even as if they were busy.

So today I went here with a friend where we ordered Tapas at £15 each for 3 dishes.
It wasn't busy here unlike the other eateries next door and across the way. That should have been a sign! Anyway the ordered tapas arrived and was not like described on the menu. If you like cheap, stale, reheated food then you'll love this. Shredded chicken is not that. Instead are small overcooked, hard chunks and chorizo are very thin slices! Sweetcorn fritters stale and hard as too was the goats cheese. Needless to say I'll walk on by and go elsewhere in future!

Went to a gathering here 4 weeks ago and had tapas buffet. Calamari rings, chicken teriyaki, spicy chips and houmous. After about an hour I was running to the toilet with stomach cramps. I have been ill ever since with my bowels so I'm not sure if the calamari was cooked properly and I've contracted a nematode infection. Easily done if seafood isn't handled or cooked very well. I'm still under the doctor now being monitored. I'm not impressed.

Stopped by for a quick cuppa. Friendly attentive staff though Zinc was far from busy. Obviously coz they were not offering the Eat Out to Help Out discount for whatever reason! They had done well opening early with takeaways during the lockdown and innovatively partnered with a local Indian restaurateur (Ayushi) to offer a smogasbord of delectable authentic Indian street eats . However the coffee mugs today were half filled, not a standard size, there was no attempt to get people to hand-sanitize or provide details for track and trace. Staff did not keep their distance from guests. The men's toilet was grimy, the walls stained, there was no toilet paper and the bit of the kitchen one could see on the way up to the loo seemed like it could do with a thorough scrub down! Clearly standards have been allowed to slip! C'mon Zinc! You can definitely do better. You have shown that you have it in you. Pull up your boot straps and give West Bridgford the service and experience you are clearly capable of!!!

Average at best. Basic reformed ham on a sandwich that cost 7.50. Was meant to be a panini, was a part baked baguette. Had to ask for condiments, no one asked if the food was ok.

Shame on you Zinc. Two previous warnings and a hefty fine, yet you still flouted the rules and put people at risk. No wonder Nottingham has the current highest covid cases in the country. Now you're closed down and deservedly so.
