I've been having a pint in hear on and off for a few years it's a chill social place with a really relaxed vibe I'd definitely recommend a visit if your in chester. Recently as insulting as it may sound i tried the food and its absolutely brilliant top class definelty grab a meal or a burger if your in this direct really is something else.

Tasters and beer flights available. Dog friendly. Often overlooked. Is understated and well worth an amble down the side street on Commonhall Street, just off Bridge Street. Formerly called The Weighing Room, and before that, The Pelican. Owned by hester Race Company.

Originally an old mill and Weighing Room, situated on Commonhall Street, which was named after an early type of court called the Commonhall of Pleas. The street was built in the 13th Century.

Great place and dog friendly. Always have a great range of ales and beers. Staff very friendly and always helpful. Food was really tasty too. Thank you team CSS
