I visited here one afternoon on a booze cruise with my pal.
Was in the back bar and found the place to be a good little bar.

Had a brilliant Christmas night out here and had the lounge to ourselves. Christmas dinner was better than alot of hotels ive been to and staff warm and friendly, offering table table service which was a treat!

A varied menu with nice choices, including vegetarian options. Food was very nice and well presented. Bar was well stocked and staff, in uniform, were very pleasant and attentive. If tables were set and menus on display it would make the place more appealing and inviting as a dining area. Instead there is a pool table which takes over the room. Good music but being played far too loud for a lounge/dining experience and making it difficult for diners to converse.
