The Brass Bat

We turned up to Cardiff around 10 days before Christmas so routinely found ourselves wanting to get off the packed streets, out of the way of hoards of shoppers. We found The Brass Bat and went in, and we were almost alone in there. Turns out it was only their second day so word of mouth hadn’t caught on yet. We had a couple of rounds of drinks. All good except the last lot of cocktails, too syrupy but all in all a nice place and I hope it does well.

Dark n dingy, even behind the bar there were no lights in the fridges so you couldn't see what was in there. Goodness knows how the bar staff manage behind the bar.....
Wouldn't go there again.

Cocktails were beautiful and the 2-4-1 deal makes it the place to be and definitely worth a try

No Cover, 2-4-1 wine/cocktails, and you can get a table. I'd say that you got your night sorted.

Really nice place, neon signs are super cool and managed to get a pint for 2.50! 🤣 Highly recommend

A rather nice one capable of making some absolutely fantastic cocktails there is not too much to complain about the price as it is well almost everywhere in town. The overall atmosphere is a little bit sweaty and close and papsa touch claustrophobic but the overall sense that it gives off is rather decent it doesn't feel too grimy but at the same time feels a little bit down and dirty however I would not rush people here quickly.

Only had one lager available on tap and that was flat. Cocktails were also disappointing. Which is a shame as the bar has an ideal location and will never struggle for custom.

Great place to let loose & party with friends. Especially the 2 for 1 cocktails mmmm.
