Great staff and venue, but food is very poor indeed. One gets the impression that many dishes are nuked in the microwave. Tomato soup was simultaneously cold in some parts and boiling in others. Steak and ale pie was the same. Tiny portion of scampi for the price. Loaded fries smothered in sickly sweet BBQ sauce and, again, partially microwaved cheese. Risotto was stodge. Such a shame, and especially at the prices charged: it should be so much better.

I myself literally just walked into this place now to look at menus for family of 4 and got turned away saying the place was fully booked all day / evening? Although many empty tables... wont bother trying again vibe of customer service wasn't very friendly.

Good food, good choices on the menu. pleasant staff. Well refurbished. Couldn't fault it. Plus they allow dogs

Lovely pub/restaurant just up from our caravan always pleasant and obliging and we cab take our little dog which is bonus

Favourite local restaurant especially out of tourist season 😁. Food vg, variety excellent. I'd eat the crispy beef every time but think that makes me too boring. Chicken and chorizo risotto comes a close second. Staff friendly, efficient. Atmosphere good. Décor lovely. Highly recommended.

Minus… the English are not wanted here.. different menu and prices given. Food cooked terribly. Good food ruined deliberately, just to upset the English visitors.
