The Peacock Lounge

Just found this place while out for a walk on the beach. Lovely staff great food and drinks. We stopped for lunch on Friday and it was quite but had just opened for lunch, would like to go back in an evening as it looked like it would have a great vibe in there

Ordered a fantastic meal from here. It arrived quickly with great communication from the driver who was really friendly and polite. The food was so much better than your average takeaway. Delicious, really good quality and good value.

Burger tasted like a decent piece of meat rather than a typical frozen burger elsewhere. Food was good I’d order again happily.

Visited the Peacock Lounge in Rhos this evening. The service was good and friendly however bit disappointed with the food. Asked for chunky chips but got thin( they did offer to change), the burgers were ok (nothing special) however the bacon was like a slab of gammon and under cooked and fatty. No diet lemonade or sparkling water so settled for full fat lemonade. Puddings were nice, cheesecake and crumble however the cheese cake base was really think. Sadly got to mention the toilets, very bad. On a positive, the fake fire on the tv on the wall made us laugh. Would we go again? Sadly no.

You will never get a table here without a booking. Got turned away twice. Never coming here again. This is not a joke. Your establishment is though. Offered to sit outside in the rain by the clearly uneducated staff. They must be blind, no one wants to sit in the rain. If I could give zero stars, then I’d try for a negative.

Edit: to further this, I had a reply from the owner that stated “try booking!”. Just by contacting me in this way and being rude about it, I assume rudeness is intrinsically and systematically the core of this business.

AVOID!!!

Another expertly crafted meal served up with good service and nice wine. Peacock Lounge offers a break away from other mediocre establishments.

We've just had a takeaway and 3 cocktails from here. The meals was delicious, the onions rings were missing, however, this was rectified immediately. The cocktails were delicious too. Will certainly be ordering from here again. Thank you.
