1st visit to this trendy craft beer bar in Goodsheds Barry and it wont be my last. Great chilled out vibe, outdoor seating with heaters, staff are really friendly and informative. Diverse range of beers on tap, I had a very tasty ‘American Grafitti IPA 👌🏻🍺. You can order takaway food from goodsheds and eat it here too, bonus! Loving the ‘Press button for drinks idea’ need one of these at home!!

A first visit to Craft Republic but we will be back. A great afternoon with friendly and knowledgeable staff, an excellent range of craft beers, and Barry Island Gins, and a great partnership with GoodSheds food Hall to allow you to fetch food back into the bar and enjoy with a cracking beer. Oh! and very dog 🐕 friendly. Definitely well worth a visit 👍

Lovely bar. Really nice staff, v attentive to us and our dog. Delicious beer and had a wine to take home too! A must visit if you're in Barry.

Nice vibe - completely independent. I had local g and t..excellent. Also you can bring food in from neighbouring stalls.

Excellent place to go for drinks, good selection of Craft Ales, Wines, Cocktails and Spirits. Not a cheap place to drink, prices are more like city prices. But don't let that put you off. They have table service which makes it so much more enjoyable than trying to fight at the bar to place an order. The staff are all fantastic and knowledgeable about the drinks. You can also buy drinks to take home with you. As this place is also part of the Good Sheds you can buy your food their and take it in with you, they don't mind. If you see Darcey the dog there say hello she lives to be patted. Would highly recommend drinking here.

Amazing selection of craft beers, wine and cocktails at sensible prices. Dog friendly and shows the Six Nations: win win! Service very fast and staff both friendly and knowledgeable.

I'd heard about this place from Simon (RealAleCraftBeer YouTube channel) so when I was in Cardiff for a weekend I thought I'd check it (and Barry) out...

Very friendly service - it's table service with doorbell type buttons on them to get served. Good selection of beers, they're all updated on their Untappd listing which is a sign of a proper craft beer place. Nice and warm too, and the toilets are impeccable (unlike a certain Cardiff craft beer bar I won't mention)

Dog and children friendly too.
