The best place to have a drink and relax in aberdare. I'm not a big alcohol drinker, but this place has a range of coffees and teas, cakes and snacks (anything you could want) alongside an unbelievable range of spirits & cocktails. The atmosphere here is great: it's one of the few places I can relax with my kindle and don't feel like I'm on a conveyor belt being moved along for the next customer. The staff are the highlight, and the real advantage over any local competition: they're always a pleasure to speak to and, when they're busy, expertly balance this with keeping speedy customer service levels.

Turned away at 11.20 even tho their information states open until 12. Party of four of us just got off the train from Cardiff after a fantastic meal, looking to finish the night with some cocktails. Very rude girl behind bar refused us entry. Shame because we probably would have spent an easy80-100 pounds there.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and needed the toilet as matter of urgency. The female owner/manager was very compassionate and empathetic & welcomed me to use the toilet. Her kindness and understanding really touched me. So much so my husband and I stayed and had drinks.

Kieron the cocktail wizz was fantastic, he even tailored cocktails to our taste and even made time in the busy rush to come and sit and talk to us explaining in detail how things were done and why, I take my hat off to the man he makes wonderful drinks and is a really nice guy to talk to, the place is small so get there in good time as its reputation fills its seats quickly, we are excited to see a new menu and will be travelling up from Devon as soon as we can to try it. Highly recommend his margaritas👌

Don’t go here unless you want to receive bad customer service from the staff & abuse from the brunette with glasses, she’s clearly someone who can’t take criticism, I suggested really politely that the mojitos could use a little more sugar in them & since I did that she was incredibly rude to our table, giving dirty looks to my family, we spent HUNDRED$ just to be treated terribly!! NONE of the staff social distanced from anyone, they didn’t even wear masks either! At one point some random man and woman wearing tracksuits came to our table to serve us, leaning over us with no mask on, I have no idea whether they worked there or not but they didn’t seem like staff, it was really unprofessional and just a over all weird experience to say the least. Oh and we called the bar to complain and the same women we rang to complain about answered, swearing at us on the phone and being really aggressive!! She refused for us to talk to someone else such as the owners to complain about her, she claims the owners are her parents (not sure I believe that) but she clearly thinks she can get away with doing what she wants to customers and nice people. She also used an excuse and said she was ill, why the hell wasn’t she wearing a mask if she was ill? And she didn’t sanitise before making drinks either. Wish we took our service else where... the one waitress was lovely, she had red hair. If the woman who was horrible to us didn’t work here it would be a vast improvement!

Lovely atmosphere and the best coffee, absolutely delicious. Friendly and approachable staff, It has earned it's reputation as the better venues in Aberdare. Due to its draw, get in early as it's quite a small place.
