Stayed here twice now for work travel to South Wales from The Wirral. I stayed here the first time as my usual choice was fully booked. After staying here the first time this hotel is the first one I look out for when booking a room in Carmarthen.
The service is fantastic and the staff are very welcoming. There's a lad around late 20's who has checked me in on both occasions and served me for the evening meal, service has been fantastic on both occasions and has gone out of his way to make some chilli sauce with my evening meal. The food is also really good, hats off to the chef. I would never order fish and chips in a pub but I struggle to not order it when I come down here, it is banging.

Great stay lovely room with everything we needed (Inc tea in the room).. Food was great, and the staff were friendly and very helpful! Very Clean and well presented.

The fish and chips was beautiful the fish was huge🐋. Very accomodating they was very busy due to the rugby so very little space to sit but the friendly staff member found us a table to sit.

Our go-to place when we want to eat out in Carmarthen. We've been many times over many years, and both food and service are always excellent!

Great pub food! Modern and traditional pub grub. Served quickly and the staff were great! Definitely be back for lunch!

Large pub in a central position in town. The food was very good and the portions were huge. Staff were attentive and helpful. It was ideal for a pre Xmas meet - up with friends.

Pleasantly surprised! Popped in for lunch. Burger, cupachino and chocolate nemisis. All super tasty. Friendly service. Comfy setting and seats. We'll be back 😁
