Royal Oak Inn

Terrible place! Came in today and the supposed owner was so rude, surprising when it is a very much ‘average’ at best! When he wasn’t shouting at us (spitting all over the place) we watched him throw someone out who was waiting for their drink to arrive, the lad had just sat down and said he hadn’t been in before! Weird owner, terrible pub! Christmas is coming too, so make sure to pop a toothbrush and as much toothpaste santa could possibly carry on your list bud

Terrible pub. Whilst waiting for my drink to arrive from a friend the owner stood over me in an attempt to be intimidating telling me I need to leave the pub as there was not a drink on my table despite me explaining I was waiting for it to arrive. Thankfully it was not intimidating in the slightest as the ‘man’ was very skinny it was an unpleasant experience however as he had extremely bad breathe and unclean teeth. The owner swore during this despite children being present in the pub. DO NOT VISIT THIS PUB

Horrible owner here. Not happy in the slightest with his service skills towards customers. Claimed I was there ages not not buying a drink, when In actual fact I was literally in there no more then 5 minutes just waited for a mate…tried to get in my face and force me out the door when I didn’t do anything wrong. Tried to man handle me thinking he was the Rock where in actual fact he was more like the Stick. Don’t go here please.

I am completely gutted by how poor this restaurant was and the service. Do not recommended. The catering & staff are all awful. Please stay clear especially if you have kids they do not care they will swear and show horrendous behaviour no matter what. So bad !!!!!!!!

Absolutely disgusted by who I assume is the manager.. I took my children for something to eat and the manager started swearing at a customer and kicked him out who as far as I could see had done nothing wrong… completely disgusted by this language when my children were present

Real let down, was told it was bad before but thought I’d give it a go because I was driving past, what a waste. Dirty and smells awful. beer was like orange juice with bits

Really wish I could give a 0 star, was really not a welcoming place to be. Felt very judged by the manager which made me feel very uncomfortable.
