Very good indeed for Sunday lunch. Dropped in on the off-chance, and delighted that we did. The mains were exactly what one would expect, and very satisfying. The puddings were stylish and elegant! As well as being delicious. The service was impeccable in every respect. I cannot recommend this locale too highly. Splendid!

Ate twice here over 2 nights while on a week long holiday in the area. Food was really, really good. Sort of usual good pub food but with a twist to make it better and more like a restaurant if you get my twist.
I would say that the meals were both in my top 10 ever eaten anywhere.
The location and service were top notch too. The patrons were also a cut above (which I definately aren't!) but the place was still warm and welcoming.
Can't recommend higly enough....a classic high quality British pub restaurant.
Next to the lovely Corby Glen Village too with a beautiful old school site art gallery across the road.

This establishment is a little gem.The rooms are spacious, well equipped and for once the mattress wasn't hard.! The food is absolutely sublime both breakfast and evening meals. Staff and owners very friendly and professional. Cannot wait to return. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Every time we visit we are greeted like long lost friends. The food is so good and well presented. Service is friendly and and always cheerful. I always recommend it to our friends and family and when they visit we regularly take them there. Best place ever.

We took advantage of the amazing “Escape” deal to break our journey between Norfolk and Cheshire. How impressive and then some! Really lovely room which was toasty, well furnished and with the most sumptuous cloud like bed.
Then to dinner; sea bass and belly Pork, respectively, then an amazing blueberry pavlova. Fine dining presentation and skilfully cooked. Good choice of wine by the glass served, red wise, at proper temperature; £7.85 for a medium glass of Malbec, but a good one.
Fantastic breakfast too.
Outstanding value. More than highly recommended, especially as we contrived to leave our spare car keys behind and the staff had already found them before we’d realised.!

We travel up from Kent and have lunch here most weeks whilst visiting our Mum in a care home. Occasionally we stay over in one of the rooms. We simply adore this place. The food is outstanding, the rooms are terrific value and the staff are incredible. Amanda, Gemma & the team are simply brilliant - and the icing on the cake is that the real ales are kept and served to perfection. If you’ve not been here yet you’re missing a trick 😎

Called in for Sunday lunch. The Woodhouse Arms has a lovely, welcoming feel and the staff give excellent service. Lunch was very tasty and a good portion size. The Yorkshire pudding was the best, that I've had in a long time, also a very generous serving of meat.
