What can I say, this place result deserves five stars.. Never been before, lots of parking, a great venue that feels spacious and is well presented. Set in the beautiful area of Burgh. Greeted by two lovely ladies/ staff who must surely be what every pub/restaurant would want to front their business. We ordered one fish and chips, a side salad and two drinks.. The food was more than enough for two people, and was of the highest standard. Would easily hold it's own in any top restaurant. The side salad was so generous and perfectly fresh. The Guinness was divine, went down well after our morning walking. Such a perfect place, so easy to give it five stars. Next time I'm in that area I will go back for sure!

We had the BEST fish and chips here. I am gluten intolerant and they had battered fish available for me,I was so pleased. The staff are all very helpful and sensitive to my needs. Highly reccomend this place.

We visited this pub the night a band was playing it was grossly understaffed . The lady serving was visibly stressed and was spoken to in an appalling manner by a customer for taking too long, while the owner sat outside enjoying the evening leaving his staff to deal with Everything on their own.
It took 40 min for us to get a pint. Wouldn't return there's clearly a management issue .

Had booked up but got there and not added but given a table. Bit slow to serve but food was really good. So we'll worth the wait and prices are good. Staff friendly and hard working.

We came here after a lovely Riverside walk. Really welcoming to us and our dog. Brought out a bowl of water and treats for him.
Drinks - good choice and reasonable prices.
We came on a Sunday and despite being busy with Sunday lunch bookings still happy to make room for us.
We had Sunday lunch, beautiful and well worth the money.Amazing value for money.
Highly recommend this place. An absolute gem. Oh and to make things even better for the hubby they were happy to put his football teams match on the tv.

The pub had a friendly atmosphere, staff were just right. Food came out quick. Good service, nice place to relax and eat. I couldn't really fault it tbh. Food was good rather than amazing. The bill seemed reasonable
