We love eating at the Welby. Great choice for vegans, brilliant deals and tasty food.

Lovely place! Food is great and really cheap and great protion sizes for the price! For 4 people :drinks and food cost £34!! Although only con was they forgot a few bits of our food eg:hash browns and coleslaw but that was all. Definitely recommend giving it a visit and there are 3 different claw machines for the kids £1 each!

Not sure how you can forget to cook a burger before you place it in a bun and bring to customer!
I'm not normally very fussy with food, but my burger was still fridge cold.
I have been very poorly since visiting on Friday evening. No apology, no free drink or pudding.

I visit The Welby frequently with family and friends and am never disappointed! The staff are all lovely and so attentive. The quiz on a Wednesday is brilliant as is the Bingo, so well organised and the atmosphere is amazing!

Really really bad! The food had been sat around. The mash potato was solid and brown and had to be sent back, it came back still solid. The veg was dry from sitting around. Both my mother in law and father in law had the same thing and couldn't eat it. Ordered the candy mania but there was no cookie in it and they knew and charged us and didn't tell us. There was half the amount in there compared to the other peoples one we saw but we were charge full price. I would NOT recommend! No apologies for the missing parts of the dessert. Really bad.

(Update) I emailed the Welby, after they commented below asking me to, they re-asked what was wrong in their email and then they never replied again after I emailed back.

This place has gone down hill these past few months. The staff look absolutely miserable (what staff they do have left). No napkins, condiments served with food your having to ask. Noone is coming back to ask if the food is OK. I ate there 2 days ago and then got food poisoning. People cramped in one section because there closing sections off, not a nice welcoming atmosphere at all.
