Ordered meals for the whole family, tomato pasta was awful asked for cheese to make it more palatable was told we would need to pay for it. 1 meal missed..carrot sticks on childs meal looked about a week old..awful..waitress was rude too!

Very disappointing visit for my first time here. Came due to the website advertised unlimited tea but found out on arrival that they didn't do that. Ok can understand that things change. Ordered Southern Fried Chicken Goujons in a Toasted Wrap with Melted Cheese. Looking at the attached photo shows an untoasted wrap, a single slice of plastic cheese and the limpest, wilted, undressed lettuce ever. Poor show and will never return. When you consider the offer Weatherspoons have within a minutes walk I won't be surprised if this stays open much longer.
Cooking by numbers by a chef that cannot count!

From when we arrived until when we left Jonathan took our order for food, served us with drinks, brought the food out to our table with a smile. He couldn't do enough to help us. He was so polite and helpful. Food was excellent and good value for many. We will be back soon.

Food is lovely but the customer service needs looking at... we was a party of 4, we ordered our food it arrived promptly, minus 1 meal we had to wait 20 minutes there was no apology... While the our member of the party was still eating we was asked if we'd like our desserts. Desserts arrived within 15 minutes again minus 1 came 10 minutes later it arrived again no apology.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and smile from Alicia, she asked if we were okay and where would we like 2 sit. (We being me and my 2 kids) they were more interested in going out to the park that watching TV. When I went to order food again Alicia with her bubbly smile was very friendly, polite and helpful. I ordered.our food had a wee shot of the tombola for charity and sat down for our dinner. The waiter/chef brought out our meals and we sat and had some good quality time together as a family. Alicia brought out some crayons and activities for the kids and they loved it, thank you Alicia for such great hospitality 😍☺️

The loveliest friendliest service from Jonathan, Lorna and the kitchen. We felt so welcome. And the fish and chips was delicious. Served on hot plates which makes all the difference and just shows how much attention they pay to detail. Much appreciated. I can’t remember the last time so had such genuine friendly and attentive service in a pub. Thanks so much the guys from The Chequered Flag. We will be back 👍🙏🏼

Absolutely disgusting. The chicken was served raw, still pink and you could clearly see the jelly like consistency of the meat. Everything was either burned or over cooked. My daughters mac n cheese had a thick layer of film over the top from what I'm assuming is the microwave. Notified the waitress that the chicken was still raw who advised me that the chicken came in precooked and did I want her to throw it on the grill. Politely declined that offer. Will not be back here, my own microwave cooks better.

Just out for a quick spot of lunch, southern fried chicken burger, combo platter and halloumi fingers. Overall we were happy with the food.
