Great family pub. Can't wait to come and enjoy some pizzas again soon. So fresh tasting. Gail is very welcoming and easy to approach especially when asking about allergies.

We were a party of 4 ladies. All meals were excellent. We also enjoyed the deserts. Reasonably priced, friendly efficient service. All tables were cleaned thoroughly between customers.

Having the pub round the corner makes it first choice for an evening drinks and meal however all is as should be so... lucky us. Fantastic burgers

Staff pleasant enough.
Inside nice. Outside shabby.
Sausage and mash awful. Gravy like water, mash lumpy but sausages were lovely.
I won't be racing back for food, but pub was welcoming enough.

The food was great. And as a group of mature ladies we choose the smaller portions and desert which suited us. There is not usually a portion size choice.
The staff were attentive, efficient and very pleasant. We are going again on our next get together.

Live locally but never really visit, however we had a very decent family meal on Christmas Eve, which led to me recommending to friends for a catch up meal last Friday which which led to a quick family dinner this evening! Very good service and the food is overall good value for money (although a few minor issues tonight which were sorted without fuss) and a nice atmosphere in the pub.

Came for Christmas dinner with my family, and unfortunately it was not good, my starter was lovely however my family had the fish medley and the shrimp did not look cooked, when he mention it the waitress did say it was cooked however was cooked the day before. Then the main came out and most of my food was not cooked my veg and my Yorkshire pudding. Then when my auntie asked where he sons dinner was the waitress said that all the food had be brought out however it had not. She then said she will see what she can do which was not the best response. We also paid for pigs in blankets and they never turned up. Was not a good experience. We then got our dessert which was lovely but overall the experience was not the best I’m afraid.

Table already set for the Festive meal myself and friends were having Excellent service and amazing food Piping hot, turkey melted in the mouth as did dessert Will be visiting again soon
