Warm, friendly village pub.

Amazing pub, wonderful atmosphere. Food was gorgeous, good prices and great portion sizes! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Had 2 roast beef dinners delivered today. They were, delivered on the dot, piping hot, lots of meat veg & gravy. Thank you for the excellent food & service. Very much appreciated. Happy Easter x

Proper locals pub but very friendly and made us feel welcome. The barmaid even offered me a wine glass to take to the venue we were going to because she knew they only served plastic ones.

Lovely family run pub which one of the best roasts I've had in a long time

This is what I describe as a typical working mens pub, they pop in on their way home and are still there at 8pm. The decoration and furnishings has seen better days but they have a lovely restaurant area with open fire. The barmaid was welcoming and chatty but the locals were a bit unsure. It was also very cold. It's such a shame as this place has huge potential but I won't be rushing back.

Situated on the A2 in the village of Bapchild is The Fox and Goose pub. There is a friendly, homely feel to this pub and staff are always welcoming. There is a reasonable selection of drinks on offer and I hear the Sunday roasts are very nice.

It has a car park and it is also very close to a bus stop. It also has quite a large garden, outside smoking area, a pool table and a jukebox.

People often bring their children to this pub and everyone seems welcome. It is also ideal as a stop off after a walk as there is some nice countryside nearby.
