Traditional pub close to the shopping area. On one of the pedestrianised streets near the indoor market. Although traditional, the interior has been altered over the years, and is now a calming mix of browns and greys. Some nice features in there. Strangely it appears far smaller inside than you would expect. Three cask ales usually on.

My daughter was invited to a trial shift. On the advert it just stated general bar staff (no age limit on the actual advert)
She's 17 and I caught her working behind the bar serving drinks.
Manger not on site.
When she did arrive she was extremely rude with a disgusting attitude. No professional manner

Nice, traditional little pub. Quiet during the day but staff were friendly. There was racing on the TV but the volume was low so it wasn't disturbing anyone. Only stayed for a coffee to warm up a bit but would recommend.
