Red Lion

My band have played two gigs here. This is one of the best music venues in Hertfordshire. The pub manager and staff know their stuff and a really helpful and friendly, from set-up to take down. The place is always busy on a Saturday night you can expecta great night of music either watching, or a great crowd if you're playing. If you like live music, check it out.

I was here for Tombstone Takeover 2022 - hands down one of the best dayfests I've attended. Fantastic music, brilliant sound and mixing and the whole thing was executed flawlessly. An enchanting night, thank you Red Lion

A lovely friendly environment with a great atmosphere , lovers of rock will especially appreciate. Special shout out to Sophie C for amazing bar service and bubbly personality.

A proper pub with a great atmosphere!
It has a jukebox, a pool table and is cheap, what more do you need!

Nice place, however, takes an age to get a drink when busy, and recently they have taken to playing music outside which is more like screaming and shouting and appears its main purpose is to simply upset local residents. With permission or not, I hope the volume and impact to those in the local area can be considered more than previously.

Fantastic pub darts great pint and fantastic live music definitely be going back next time I'm up in the area 🙂

Live music pub with a “rock” atmosphere. Great outdoor space at the back. Decent bands play weekly.

Cheap beer, good atmosphere,sometimes they have live bands playing. Somewhere to hang out with friends and get drunk-whats not to like about that.
