Very nice setting and pleasant staff and good food. Just wished there was more on the plate of my Scallops and prawns starter

Chose this pub for a meet up with family on the strength of the reviews on Google which normally never let me down. There is however always one. The service was appalling. I interrupted a chat amongst the bar staff to ask where my drinks were after 20mins and did the same for the food a further 30mins later. The meals all arrived at different times, extra cheese on a burger that was not ordered resulted in another 15min delay. Green sides arrived when my meal was finished. Fine for a pint but avoid food at all costs.

Really lovely pub we came here for dinner on a recent family trip. The pub is beautiful it has a lovely inviting atmosphere. The staff were lovely and friendly we had a fantastic waitress Karen. I had the beef rib it was delicious and might be worth the 1.5hr drive just to have it again 🙈

We enjoyed our visit to The Crown, having moved nearby we were keen to check out local establishments. We prebooked (via their website) and our waitress was really welcoming and helpful. The food was great, and we also enjoyed the house soda and alcohol free lagers as well. Too much lovely food on the menu, so we will need to go back another time👍

Been here a few times, the foods always been great although wasn’t as good this time around. There’s a decent beer garden here. Staff are friendly.

Lovely place, and with festive season arriving the decorations were cosy and gave off a really nice atmosphere. The food was amazing as always, and really lovely staff, both Karen and Amy, ready to help and gave off positive energy throughout our time. Overall a really friendly and enjoyable evening meal out. Highly recommend.
