This is an excellent pub for families and friends to meet with a spacious garden at the rear. You can even do a circular walk from here around some beautiful countryside. The food was superb as can be seen by my empty plate, I forgot to take a picture before I ate it. There is a good selection of drinks and prices are reasonable too. Friendly service tops off the whole experience, well worth a visit.

A chance encounter on a road trip, we popped in for a late lunch without a reservation. They were friendly, helpful and efficient, fitting us in and feeding us promptly. The food was good, made from high quality ingredients. We had prawn cocktails, served with delicious brown bread, and Caesar salads, beautifully dressed. Many thanks for looking after two hungry travellers!

Great place for lunch and staff are really helpful. Nice range of dishes on the menu from ham or gammon and eggs, fish and chips to mushroom stroganoff and daily specials. Plenty of parking and comfortable dining and socialising inside and out.

Have visited this pub three times and have never felt so unwelcomed by the owner.
He is rude and arrogant which is a shame as this is our local and we avoid going in because of him.
There's a lovely pub down the road called the Bell and the owners are lovely and welcoming which makes all the difference so lucky this isn't the only pub in the village.
