The Mid Herts Footpath Society lunched here today and thought the meals and service were excellent, especially as there were thirty-two of us and it had been difficult to state the exact number beforehand. Well done and thank you for a good experience. This is a very pleasant pub.

This is the best pub around this area . Love it there friendly landlady and landlord. Food is wonderful always fresh and tasty. A lot of their food is hand made delicious and the puddings are amazing. Had Christmas lunch there with family all were very impressed.Quiet cost in winter with open log fire . I would recommend this pub to anyone definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic pub, stayed back in 2019 in their en-suit rooms, great service, very polite and welcoming. Would gladly stay there again. Also excellent value for money

Food was nice but not very nice atmosphere when I went too quiet. But doesn't mean it's like that all the time, just my opinion
