Good pub! Really nice location, lovely to sit outside in the summer. The food is good and caters well for vegetarians but wasn’t anything special. Staff were lovely!

Friendly owners that explained to us when we came in they were a little short handed. We appreciated knowing up front and were fine with it. We had a beer and great conversation with a gentleman cyclist. The food was fantastic!

Delicious home cooked food, lovely menu and great staff. Perfect place for lunch or dinner. They have a lovely beer garden as well.
Not a scrap was left on our plates.

Nice outside area. Food good but grandson ordered cheesy pasta which really was macaroni cheese! Which he didn't eat. Plenty of shade in the garden for those that want it. Easy accessible food and drink ordering hatch.

Wonderful pub in the heart of the test valley. It comes with your typical pub food at good quality, with a great service and relatively good prices for what you get. Nice atmosphere and a very large selection of soft/alcholic drinks.

Average to be honest, we went Friday night and it wasn't overly busy but still had to wait an hour for our mains. Menu is fairly small and the prices are over the top for what you actually get, £17 for a burger and chips which come in a small ceramic bowl. Dessert was mediocre and having an outside freezer just outside our window showed that things potentially aren't overly fresh. Honestly I don't think I will return as the value for money is poor.
