Love this place. We live in Longfield but jump on the train over to this pub. You can walk your dogs along the river then sit in the garden (or in the pub as they're very dog friendly) and enjoy several pints of ale (there's usually 3 on). The interior of the pub is a treasure trove of antique bits and bobs too.

Lovely quiet, traditional pub. Small garden with stream and views of the impressive viaduct

Quirky little pub. Quiet and cosy. Very friendly staff and customers.

Wrestlers reunion today in memory of Wayne Bridge. Really nice day and a lot of old wrestling legends.

Popped in for a couple of drinks for the first time today. Lovely feel to the pub, it’s comfortable and cozy, and the Staff were welcoming and friendly. Husband says: ‘cracking little boozer’.

Visited this pub as we were driving past and decided to stop. The whole place is having a huge overhaul and will look lovely when it's finished, especially the beautiful wooden flooring which actually gleams, as did the glasses. The guy behind the bar was really friendly and told us all their new plans for the place. We had a pint of lager and a wine which came to £8.20 and there were fresh rolls available at the bar. This pub hasn't offered hot food for quite a while but with the kitchen also being revamped this will soon be on offer. Finally to the location, with a river walk running through the rear garden this will definitely be on my go to list for walking the dog and then sitting relaxing by the water with a pub lunch. Well done to all the team and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the place.

Thinks have changed for the better since my last review. The beer is kept a lot better, the place is kept clean and the service is very good. It has kept it's charm and is a great place to stop for a beer after a nice walk. Ten minutes from the train station is an added bonus for those that have come from London to enjoy the great countryside around Kent.
