It's been a long time since I've been here, and since the last time I've been disappointed.
I think the quality has gone down a lot.
The taste and presentation of the dishes have never been so poor.
And honestly, the quality leaves a lot to be desired.
The worst thing was that I took my family to this place for the first time and it left us all very much to be desired. I told my family about a very good place, but we were all very disappointed.

Really pretty location. The pub/restaurant is impressive inside. Unfortunately lack of staff today ment we could only eat if seated indoors which on such a beautiful day was a shame, the room we sat in was was nice but when more people came in it became loud and echoy which made the rest of our experience sightly negative as we could barley talk to each other over the noise from the other guests. I would recommend the room be used for just one party of people and not multiple as it's a small room and difficult to make work with too many people.
Food was lovely, good quality but our food was served with no cutlery so we had to go and find it and no sauces were offered once the food had be put down on the table so we had to go back and ask for that too. For the price we paid I would have expected better service, perhaps to go slightly above the below standard service we received. The outside area here is absolutely beautiful, with things for the children to do and its dog friendly! also you can see the old mill wheel downstairs which is lovley to see. For a drink and a seat outside on a beautiful day I would highly recommend it, food service not so much.

Lovely historic pub with attentive and very polite lady serving. Only went in for coffee. The Latte was great but sadly my espresso was not as "kicking" as I would have liked. Of course, that's personal, and maybe a one off...but I would return! They also seem to have a fantastic selection of wines by the glass (see photo) Must try next time!

Lucky find for a Friday, turned out to be an excellent choice.
Dripping in history, from the outset this looks like a living museum. It's gorgeous exterior evokes the charm of yesteryear with the running millstream leading you into the sumptuous Tudor interior.
A goodly range of beers are available, with the usual pub options of non alcoholic choices, and a well-curated wine list.
Good food choices on the simple-but-good menu provided us with some excellent lunch.
Sitting beside the millpond was a treat in the sun that allowed us to enjoy the lovely gardens.
Will be returning again soon!

Lovely place. The food is tasty and the surroundings are beautiful and usually peaceful in the day. The outside area has ample places to sit and I especially enjoy sitting on the jetty. We do enjoy also going for a walk in Odiham after a pub lunch here.

What a fabulous pub! It's a bit more than that actually, it's a bit like a stately home with wooden beams, high ceilings, garden(s) & lake. The food is gorgeous. It's the sort of place you could certainly go for a special meal and enjoy the beauty of this old watermill... Or simply to pop in for a glass of wine while you enjoy your surroundings is good enough excuse to visit as well ! Enjoy 😊

Fabulous lunch in a beautiful pub. My husband had the fish and chips, the fish was gorgeous, lightly battered and crunchy- not greasy or heavy and I had the steak ciabatta sandwich which was also very tasty! Lots of parking and such a beautiful setting, it was gorgeous outside but a bit chilly to sit out the day we went. Very friendly and lovely staff and great service. Highly recommend!
