Visiting from Canada and staying in the village for a week. The Fox quickly became our local. Friendly, welcoming staff and cozy atmosphere. Lovely huge garden to dine outside. Great pints & food, fresh and delicious. Best fish & chips! Shout outs to Shaun and Jess who took good care of us 😁 Keep up the great work Brendon! Cheers! 🇨🇦

We went for lunch today, it was awesome.
The ploughman had a great variety and great flavours. Well worth it. Also gorgeous to sit in the garden with views of Corfe Castle. Will go back!

A lively pub with indoors and garden space for drinks and dining. Excellent Sunday roasts and in summer barbeques are also available on the menu. Outside tables are very popular plan ahead and book a table in advance.

Charming, historic pub adjacent to Corfe Castle. Good seating inside and out. Good selection of beers, and a small menu. Food was quite good.

one of the most overpriced pubs I have ever been to and I live in London! for 2 pumpkin soups, 1 soft drink and 1 G&T I personally think £ 32.85 is outrageous!! the soup was nothing special, the place is quite cute, but average and nothing luxurious and the customer service not the best . we were served by a very annoyed bartender who would have rather been somewhere else that day.....

This a lovely pub which is surprisingly wheelchair accessible, both patrons and staff very friendly. Super pretty garden with a great view of the castle.

But. I had the vegan pasta option and it literally tasted... wet. That's it. That was the only flavour and texture. Genuinely the worst vegan option I've ever been served, and I've had a few! My fellow patrons with omni food seemed very satisfied with theirs, however.

If you're a vegan, eat before you come and just have a side serving of chips, they're pretty good. I wouldn't come again, not even for the pretty view.

We went to this establishment after reading the reviews online. However we found it a bit of a mixed bag.

It is an old pub with nothing plush inside. Very typical old style with the loos outside. It was quite a cold day but there was no heating on throughout the lunch time but to to be fair they would have been heating the place for less than half a dozen people.

The ale pie we had was fabulous as we're the chips that came with it. Big pieces of steak and a lovely rich gravy. Chunky chips and nice and fluffy inside. The treacle tart dessert was OK but nothing special. We had it with custard but the tart was cold and it would have been nice to have had it warmed up.

Lovely pint of Moon lite real ale and the barmaid was lovely, friendly and efficient.

Overall quite a nice experience let down by the lack of heating

Great lunch - adults and kids all loved it. Mix of fish and chips, sandwiches, sausages (proper ones) and more. Lovely (and really long) garden for the kids to enjoy too. Very friendly and quick service, really enjoyed it, will be returning for sure. Want to see the Foxes Den in full flow at the weekend for some amazing burgers we heard about from others there. Thanks to the team there - look out for the very unique view of the castle from the garden if you go…amazing!
