Great real ales and craft beers with also lots of good wines and gin selection. Fab live music at weekends. Food is good and lovely staff. We love the little outside court area right next to the park and nice place to stop if dog walking for quick pint.

Whole family from 7yrs to 67yrs visited for post birthday meal drinks early last Saturday evening. Welcoming, friendly environment, allows dogs as well. Ladies toilets are a bit of a hike up a twisting staircase - tricky to navigate in heels but it is set in a old building so it is what it is.

Fantastic pub/bar, great staff, huge collection of craft beers, bottled and cans as well as many drafts, local and international spirits, beer garden to rear and function rooms, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed .

I was absolutely patched one day, and I see a beacon of hope in the distance, the strand. I enter, I’m welcomed by a plethora of beers to choose from backed by some great service. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, will definitely be back soon

Great selection on beer with a helpful information board to choose easily for your taste. Friendly and helpful customer service. The Strand Burger was great, the burger patty is juicy and cooked just done! 👌🏻

Ive only ever visited for nights when friends have been playing live music there as its not generally my kind of place. That said, when I do go, the staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about the drinks served, thats a major plus for me. The atmosphere is great, Its lovely to be able to sit in the garden with live music and a nice pint.

Lovely pub for a quiet drink with friends, and a huge marquee currently sheltering the back garden.
