We visited it for the first time. Our friends invited us to eat at their pub and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very nice, the staff very friendly and the food was uniquely delicious. I highly recommend it.

First time at this pub. Brilliant old school feel yet had a really nice modern dining area too. Outdoor seating available and staff are friendly! What more could you want really?? Worth a visit!

The pub is lovely and the staff are really nice but the food was awful. Hunters chicken tasted like it was frozen chicken not fresh cooked chicken breast and my sons burger was so bad he couldn’t eat it. It seemed like it was frozen and reheated too.

Lovely family lunch sat outside in shade, seems smokers get 2 shaded areas, but the non smoking garden only had a few umbrellas

Thanks for your reply Jason. It was just an observation on the day, every single table under the shelters had an ash tray, but we just moved it and it didn't spoil our lunch, which was very nice

Absolutely fantastic all round. A wonderful warm welcome from the staff. Excellently quick service and the most amazing food I have had in a long time in a pub. The team at the Hare really know how to look after their customers.

Went for Christmas dinner, friendly staff, big car park cosy but service was too long. No one checked how our food was, had to ask for the cranberry sauce, frozen brussels, parsnip was hard, sausages a little overcooked, cinnamon waffle for dessert had apple which was too tart. Food was very well presented though.

Service has improved, some of the meals are buy one get one free which helps with the cost of living at the moment. The food is very nice and have a good variety.
