The Metropolitan

Really great atmosphere, welcoming and cozy. Staff were happy and friendly, happy to chat to you!
Had some sharer plates that were really tasty, especially the anchovies.

Evening meal here tonight was lovely. One way system in and out and tables with good distance between them for Covid-19 measures. Hand gel at door but this was empty on our arrival, but i always carry my own anyway.
Staff were friendly and service was good. We had the halloumi fries and cheesy fries as added sides to our full rack of ribs meal and desperate dan burger meal (as pictured). Portions were good and we really didn't need the additional fries. With an alcoholic and a soft drink on the bill minus the eat out to help out discount our bill was just over £30.

Great venue. Good outdoor area. Food was a little pricey. Chicken burgers need more contents, beer burger patties could use an upgrade. Staff was lovely. Live music was great!

Had the full English breakfast here and would highly recommend it. Everything was freshly cooked and no signs of it being sat under a hot lamp for hours! Latte was about a 2.5-3/5 though (it's no Koho!)

Atmosphere friendly, welcoming and clean. Staff were exceptional and accommodating. Food ..amazing .. fresh, quality and chef even made me a special dressing. Real personal service. Recommend highly.

Stopped at the Metropolitan for a drink with my wife on our way to a party last Friday evening. It was very busy with people dining. The food looked so good that we ended up staying for something to eat. I was lovely! I will definitely be going back with with the family.
If your in the area you should definitely check the metropolitan out!

Nice large place, plenty of space & parking. Close to tubestation.
Staff OK. Clean nice food and choice for various drink
Toilets ware clean.
