Very limited menu, no roasts available even though it was Sunday, 4 out of 6 starter's unavailable. Even run out of some of the flavoured ice cream. Waiting staff pleasant but inexperienced and slow.
Not impressed

Waited one and a half hours for meal. Was told at the beginning out of 4 starters only 2 were available, no pork and was running out of chicken.
When meal arrived the special order for somebody who has allergies was contaminated by the food she is not allowed to eat. Out of 7 meals the five chicken dinners had no stuffing and the one with no gravy had gravy
All in all pretty poor but what was served was nice.

I’ve never not ordered a dessert because I wasn’t prepared to be disappointed for a third time in a row.
Many of the choices on the menu were not available which was disappointing, leaving only the vegetarian option, a roast dinner or a burger. Non of which appealed to me. I actually felt sorry for the waitress who was kind and attentive but couldn’t make up for the lack lustre food (neither the starter or burger were served with a salad and were both quite dry and unappetising).
Again, it’s a shame because it’s a lovely place which is let down by the food.

This was a big disappointment. The starter came, praw cocktail, well some prawns on some lettuce no sauce.

Main course roast turkey with stuffing and veg. Well it was cold, the vegetables were raw and no gravy. We asked for some and they brought 2 small boats enough for two, we were 7.

The desert was equally as bad. Sticky toffee pudding. Stone cold!

Other people were complaining about similar issues. We just paid and left. Couldn't get away from the place fast enough.

Went for family birthday meal, food was delicious, all served together and in good time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon! Thank you

Had dinner there this evening. Terrible service had to wait. An hour before we got our food. Many items on the menu were not available only told when was asked for. Had a table 10 children next to us terrible noise. Steak was overcooked andrhubarb and applecrumble was not cooked enough hard pieces of rhubarb and very sour. Won't go back there dreadful experience

Nice pub I side. Service from Sarah was very good. Food very nice and plentiful. I had chicken curry. I visited with my two sisters on 7th December and hope to visit again sometime when visiting Ashford. I'd recommend.

Now under new management. Food lovely and plentiful and quick service. Large pub with loads of sofas and chairs giving it that cosy feel. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely be a regular.
