Haven't pop in for a meal since before lockdown, but when I did it was all good with a nice varied menu option consisting of gastro pub style dishes, so will pop in for a bite to eat when I next get the chance and update further!!!...

Amazing Sunday roast: soft and juicy meat, tasty gravy, nice choice of veggies.

I liked the interior and the atmosphere as well, highly recommended!

Amazing Sunday roast with the nicest staff and best atmosphere. We were welcomed with smiles and help from the second we crossed the threshold! The Sunday roast was to die for!

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch at the Guinea, but there were a few finishing touches that could have really improved our visit. We were seated and weren’t given any menus. After our drinks order was taken we still weren’t given any menus. We had to ask for them in the end. Bit weird considering we had booked for Sunday lunch. The food was nice but it wasn’t hot, and I would have loved more than one carrot and parsnip each. Overall an ok experience, just lacking that little extra for me

Booked for a bottomless brunch for myself and daughter. Lovely afternoon. Staff very attentive and friendly. Drinks flowed and didn’t have to pester or push for them to be served. Food was great…. you have to try the Marmite chips they were fab.
Would definitely go back again. Well worth the money!!!!

Waited over 50 mins for my fish n chips and a burger for the other person. Never been to a pub this slow…before you ask, no it’s not peak time, 1950 arrival and food served 2048, and it’s a weekday. Barely anyone sat inside and the outdoor seats were 80% full. 2 waiters covered the outdoor seating. They were nice. But hygiene standard, I am not so sure about… they helped settling the uneven table legs by putting something under it, and without washing their hands, served my salad with thumb in the bowl… and my fish was soggy…chips were nice though. And portion was large

Great pub & lovely team and management. Went there on Saturday and was really busy mixed with people wanting to watch the football and a lot of Christmas parties. They managed to run it smoothly, provide good food and still look happy doing so whilst keeping everyone happy.

First visit here and 100% will return. Food was extremely good and staff really friendly. Had the best dessert ever, bread and butter pudding like I’ve never tasted. Strongly recommend the Guinea.
