As with quite a few pubs in Canterbury, this is a nice quaint old style pub with very good food. It was quite busy at night but better at lunch time on the weekend when we went.
We ordered their special burgers which were fabulous and the fries were superb. With good beer as well we went away very happy. The price was decent as well.

Lovely quaint little pub with a really nice feel and atmosphere. The pub benefited from a cozy outdoor area to the rear, a bit of a sun trap (which I loved) and shaded area too.

A great menu at reasonable prices.. we did not have time to sample the food but enjoyed a lovely alcoholic beverage. Prices slightly steep (but guess that's Canterbury prices)

The staff were very friendly along with the what appeared to be regulars.

Toilets clean and tidy.

All in all and lovely, jolly little pub. We would return.

Very friendly staff, great food (the curry is to die for) and cold drinks.
So pretty much everything you look for in a pub!
Will visit again.

Good town centre pub. Couple of lads behind the bar were both friendly, cheerful and efficient but was very shocked to be charged £3.50 for a lime and soda! Extortionate po rice even in an economic crisis. I will not be returning anytime soon.

Very friendly. Nice ale. Not much choice for a VF vegetarian but was able to have a halloumi burger without the bun; was delicious

Dashed in to get out of the rain. Lady who served us was very welcoming and had a chat. Lovely pub and would be happy to go in again on next visit ☺️

This place gets top marks as a quaint English Inn. Something is missing, maybe atmosphere earlier in the evening but certainly a decent range of beers. Still not bad for a quick pint. To be fair it could be a banging pub with a decent band on but unfortunately we didn't experience that.

A nice central place to grab a drink and watch sports. Inside and outside seating on the main high street.
Unfortunately food took a long time and was burnt when it came out, the steak pie if not burnt would have been very good. The cow motif on the pie is a nice touch
