A good family pub with a good atmosphere. Was a mixture of different age groups. Food was good. The Korean wings excellent. Burgers okay. Loved the old tunes they played. Dogs are allowed in and they even have a dogs' bar with water and biscuits for them. The staff all wear masks and the tables are sprayed and wiped down eveytime someone leaves.

Great atmosphere and beautiful garden. The food is ok, not exactly mind blowing. Been here for Sunday Roast too - average at best. Nonetheless, cosy place for drinks.

Massive thank you to Ian and the team who hosted my 40th rave in the Lion room. Couldn't have been more accommodating hosts to my guests, both young and old! And the staff enjoyed shaking a leg too. Thank you!

Had big expectations for their Sunday Roast but was bitterly disappointed. Went for their pork which ended up being over cooked and inedible. When the staff cleared the plates their wasn’t as much as a sorry. The bar is fine but just don’t go for the food.

Love this place and the staff. We had some food which wasn't the greatest but I've heard the pizza is really good. Would definitely recommend for a few drinks.

Went for Sunday roast and was utterly disappointed.

I got a nut roast (pictured) and my partner got a pork roast (after being advised that the chicken would be more than an hour). We ended up waiting an hour for the food anyways, and then were served the worst roast either of us have ever experienced. The nut roast was a slab of grey, unappetizing and tasteless unseasoned mush. The Yorkshire puddings were flat pancakes with no crispiness. My partner’s pork was woefully small and had no crackling (menu mentioned crackling to come with the pork). We asked for extra gravy and it was stodgy to the point of nearly being jelly. Both dishes were lukewarm at best.

What a massive shame as the pub itself was nice enough on the inside and the staff were polite. Even though this is the closest pub to where we live, we will not be returning.

We were so excited to finally try the pub having moved into the area in the summer. There is a great selection of drinks available and the aesthetics are lovely. However, we then proceeded to order four roast dinners and waited an hour and 15 minutes to be served, to then receive cold meals and watery gravy. The food was quite frankly shocking. Two tables of two people who also ordered roasts were served before us despite coming in after us. Thoroughly disappointed, especially given the high price of food. The staff couldn't have cared less either. Sadly our first and last visit, even if just for food.

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and our cocktails were made by the book. Miguel looked after us. He was so professional and friendly and we had good laughs together.
